1. Men For A Cause, United Against Breast CancerTM
Men For A CauseTM (MFAC) is the first and only nonprofit organization founded to educate, motivate and empower men in the fight against breast cancer in both women and men internationally as fighters, survivors and co-survivors.
Men For A Cause bridges the gap of communication between patients, physicians and co-survivors, enabling men to be active participants in the fight to eradicate breast cancer as a life threatening disease.
We provide a community and targeted support by giving men creative and safe outlets to express their fears and anxiety as well as communicate hope, love and support when breast cancer strikes them or a loved one.
2. American Cancer SocietyTM
"The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service." www.cancer.org
3. Breastcancer.orgTM
"Nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the most reliable, complete, and up-to-date information about breast cancer."
4. Susan G. KomenTM
"Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart, body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments, and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation. That concern for others continued even as Susan neared the end of her fight. Moved by Susan's compassion for others and committed to making a difference, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever." www.komen.org
5. National Breast Cancer FoundationTM
"The National Breast Cancer Foundation's mission is to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need. Our mission includes increasing awareness through education, providing diagnostic breast care services for those in need, and providing nurturing support services." www.nationalbreastcancer.org
